Iran Suspected in UK Air Base Plot; US Warns Citizens

Iran is suspected of involvement in the bomb plot against Britain's RAF Fairford air base, The Jerusalem Post reported. According to a report by i24NEWS, a phone call from a local farmer led to the arrest of the five suspects near the installation, which is also used by US Air Force bombers.

Following the thwarted attack, the US State Department and the American Embassy in London issued a security alert for US citizens, according to Arutz Sheva. The embassy warned that infrastructure and organizations affiliated with the United States face an increased risk, noting that British authorities classify the local terrorism threat as severe. Further official details regarding the police investigation have not yet been released.
