Opposition leader Yair Lapid rejected assertions by an unnamed political source claiming he was briefed on a significant rise in overseas terror activity during his security update with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, news site Srugim and broadcaster Kan 11 reported.
Responding to the claims, Lapid characterized them as repeated falsehoods intended to confuse the public. He accused the political official of attempting to take credit for the actions of passengers who prevented a disaster on board the aircraft, emphasizing that Netanyahu did not present any information resembling the incident.
